And then! David took me out to Pizza Pie Cafe. We realized it was our first official single date...ever. We've always been out with groups for dates or else they weren't technically "official" dates...it was very exciting. So we had dinner, and David, being the amazing, sweet man that he is, asked if I wanted to see a movie afterwards, to complete the wholeness of being on a date. And since he's so thoughtful and knew that I hadn't seen Blind Side yet, he suggested that. I was very, very excited.
After dinner, we had some time to kill, so we went to the park and unpacked his bean bag chair from his car and set it up on the grass. It was such a nice night! I love just talking to him. And he does an excellent job at finding shapes in clouds :)
Then we went to the movie and it was AMAZING!! Definitely one of my favorites! I love that it's a true story too...it's just nice to know that there are such great people out there. It definitely helped me to have a renewed sense of service and being selfless towards those around me. It was so great. And I loved being there with David. We both agreed that it was just...nice. Holding each other's hands, being together, going out on a date. He's amazing.
The only down side to the day is that I should have worn my brace for my wrist all day long...but I took it off while I was studying 'cause it was getting annoying...well I forgot to put it back on before the date, and after dinner I reached to grab my phone out of my pocket and something popped in my wrist again...so now it hurts more...just when I thought it was healing. Oh well. Just means a few more days in such a stylish and exciting brace! :)
Anywho, g'night all!
