Trip #1: Washington

So this week has been a blast...I'll be posting more about it later with pictures when I have more time. But I've loved every minute with Annie and Tim and their families. The little kids are all perfect ages for each other, and it's been so fun to watch them interact with each other. All week we went to swimming lessons, a few different parks/water parks, played in the Columbia River, and celebrated Ashley's birthday with a very nice pedicure.. :) Like I said, details will come later.

But I'm already exhausted...who knew 8 little kids all 8 and under could wear a person out so fast?! ;) It'll be nice to have a few hours to...hopefully...sleep on the plane tomorrow. I am going to miss Annie a ton....I'm already not looking forward to saying goodbye to her...it's the worst. And her little Becca....CUTEST (from her family...promise, not being biased against any of my nieces and nephews :P ) little girl!!! She said Nana a couple times this week :) I love her little baby talk and the constant, "Daddy! Daddy! Daddy!" She said that every time she saw my cell phone and would chatter up a storm with it whenever I gave it to her. Or her "ow"s or "yea"s or "no"s or "mama"s or "sassy"s or "hi"s or "bye"s; blowing kisses and using her sign language. Her giggles are so adorable as well as her toothy, scrunched up smile. But the thing I'll miss the most is her little hugs. This little girl gives the BEST hugs...she just holds on and squeezes for all she's worth, smiling the whole time. Her little, chubby arms are perfect for wrapping around your neck completely. Love it love it love it! And her little kisses too. Man, I am not really looking forward to the goodbye scene tomorrow....

But! On to San Diego! I'm excited to go hang out with David and Chanda and the fam down there. I've missed them tons. It sounds like they have a lot of fun things planned. The two little girls have already decided that we're having a girls night where I get to paint their nails and put on lip gloss and Aimee said that I have to do her hair (she cut her hair, and she wants to see if I can do anything fun with it like I usually do with her long hair). I'm really excited. Ooo and to see Twilight with Chanda and David :) (don't tell...but I'm actually really excited to see it...and I'm glad Chanda is too :D)

Anywho...sounds like the laundry is done so I need to finish packing my things. Wish me luck on driving to Spokane tomorrow! Hopefully I can find it.... :P
