So, I had my "first day" of work, which was really just a really really long orientation (actually, it was funny, 'cause it was only supposed to take 2 hours, instead of the 4 hours that it took....a couple of managers kept on going off tangents, it was fun, and i got paid for it! :D). Anywho, so it looks like I'm not going to be waitressing as of this moment, they might put me on it too later. Instead, I'm going to be on counter, or cashiering. So no tips, which is sad, but oh well. They might try and train me on both, just so I can have more hours, but we'll see.
Also, one of the managers said that it wouldn't be a problem if I didn't work Sundays, they'd just have to remember not to schedule me.
I still have to try and get another job 'cause this one is only a few hours a week, whenever they need me basically. Also, they don't even open until 11am, so I'm going to try and find one where I can work both. Or something....I dunno, we'll see.
