The Youth Celebration was last night. It sorta went through the history of the Magic Valley. Some groups were really good, others were not so much....but everything was really entertaining. There was even one stake that represented Idaho Spuds. They had a girl dressed up as a potato and everyone did a funny hip hop dance with it. Emma was in the choir which was absolutely excellent. It sounded as if there were only 4 singers instead of a choir of at least a hundred people. Sounds like she had fun.
The dedication was today, and that was really neat. It's been either the 4th or 5th dedication I've been to, but the first where I wasn't able to see the corner stone ceremony. I actually had my own little miracle this morning too. So, I got my ticket from my college ward bishop while mom and dad got theirs from their own bishop. All my friends who got their tickets at the same time were going to the 2:00 session (same time as mom and dad) and when I glanced at my ticket, that's when I thought I was going too. Well...come noon this morning, I check my ticket just in case..and it said that I was suppossed to have gone to the 9am session. Dad and I flipped, but I called his bishop and luckily he had an extra ticket. When I ran over to his house to get the ticket, he told me that it was his very last ticket. Man, blessing right there. Definitely proved to me that we're being watched over and taken care of. It was neat.
Anywho, the dedication was neat. Grandma and Grandpa were invited to sit in the Celestial Room and represent the first pioneers into the valley. Grandpa has been really cute and excited about it. Well we think we saw the back of their heads during a lot of the session...but we're not sure...it looked bald and shiny and the shape of Grandpa's head...so we think it was him...I dunno :)
I'm excited 'cause the temple is supposed to be open tomorrow. My ward's going to do baptisms there on the 28th, so I'm way excited for that.
Anywho, I figured I need to make up for the lack of writing during the summer, so have fun reading :D

Cool story--neat how you got your ticket. It's a beautiful Temple. Glad we got to see it.
