So on September 18 (I know...awhile ago...) David and I had our 6-month. It was very exciting and we had awesome plans for it. :)
So that morning I had to work, but afterwards we met up and watched the first half of the BYU football game in the Wilk. The first half was awesome! We had some pretty exciting plays...but we learned later that we ended up getting slaughtered. But Dave and I didn't care 'cause we saw the good parts :)
During half time we came back to his apartment and made the most amazing dessert ever. I had never heard of or made them before, but he said it's one of his favorites. It's a homemade Reese's bar... AMAZINGNESS!! (they ended up being SO yummy! I'm officially addicted) I had a ton of fun making them with him. I insisted on smashing the graham crackers by hand and the numb feeling in my fingers that ensued was definitely worth it.
Oh and it was so cute! I was getting crackers ready to be smushed, and I heard David behind me so I turned and he was holding a beautiful rose. It was even my favorite kind. He gave it to me and said, "Happy Anniversary," and gave me a nice little kiss. Sweetest thing ever! And I was very surprised. I don't think I stopped smiling for awhile. Here's the rose, isn't it gorgeous?? :)
After the dessert was safely tucked away in the freezer we headed to Fat Cats for bowling. We had never bowled together before and were both really excited about it. Well, he didn't absolutely slaughter me so yay! haha We were pretty close both games. And towards the end of the second game he finally figured out how to get the strike with his curve ball....thankfully, at the end of the game. If he had started off like that he would have kicked my trash completely. But it was way fun. Sadly I don't have pictures 'cause they're on his phone.
From there he took me out to eat at Los Hermanos. He had never been there and I really like it. We had great 'people watching' seats, looking out towards the street. And believe me, we saw some amazing things...again, pictures with him, but I might get him to send me them later. The food was really good, and it was so nice being out with him. Afterwards we decided to go on a nice walk around center street. It was a ton of fun and way nice to relax and talk with him.
Then to top things off we took his giant bean bag Vivian Park and watched this movie:

on my laptop. Where again he surprised me with a cute little fishy card...it even had POP-OUTS! haha it was pretty exciting. The whole day was absolutely wonderful, even if it was topped off by the sprinklers coming on at the park... :P All in all, it was an excellent way to celebrate the past 6 months. :)
