David's ward Halloween party was this last Friday and I must say our costume was pretty spiffy. After much deliberation, we chose to be Mike Wazowski and Boo from Monster's Inc. DI proved to be very helpful in finding Dave's and my outfits; we were able to get him green pants and a shirt (and as like David likes to say, "they were definitely from the men's section and are not maternity pants.". ....haha he wishes...they were yoga pants from the women's section, but don't tell him I told you :D) and a white construction hat. David found a great pajama shirt for me to wear.
The day of, we were able to print off Mike's eye and mouth and David ironed them on. I think they turned out great! Especially David's. I even turned his hair green for the event. The Halloween party was pretty fun. There was a ton of pizza, dancing, and a Halloween contest. Sadly, David and I didn't win...but people liked our costume :) And Jarod, Chuck, and Nate won the 'group' costume contest. They were Rock, Paper, Scissors. Their costumes really were awesome and people flipped when they came on stage. It was awesome. And David's roommate, Shane, dressed up as a little German boy, with legit liederhosen from Germany.
