Best Weekend Ever!!

1) Friday was gorgeous outside!

2) Hung out with Kaylie and Whitney and just went crazy counting couples on campus, walking to Los Hermanos, eating at Los Hermanos, calling Lance to pick us up so we didn't have to walk back from Los Hermanos :) Then PAR-TAY at Whitney's! Tons of people showed up too. Brady, Kaylie, Austin, Gracie, Emily, Chad, Victoria for a little bit and my guest Dave.

3) Dave came to Whitney's with me! haha so much fun! He's so hilarious and got along great with all of my friends. He's so chill and just happy. I love it! :) I just had tons of fun with him.

4) VICTORIA'S ENGAGED!!! It happened Saturday night and I couldn't possibly be more happy for her! I love that girl like my sisters. And her *fiance* is absolutely perfect for her. Her ring is GORGEOUS! I'm so so so so excited for her :)

5) Spent the night at Whitney's and had tons of fun girl-talking even though we all fell asleep before we could finish Confessions of a Shopoholic (still need to see the whole thing...)

6) Hung out with Kaylie in the morning and had lunch with her at Arby's! Love those curly fries and that girl!

7) BRYAN CAME INTO TOWN!!! Oh my goodness it was so much fun hanging out with him all day long! He's like my brother and I love him to death. We looked for housing and may have found some and then roamed the mall the rest of the day. And dang is he lookin' hott! Haha Like I've already told him, his fashion sense has definitely increased since before his mission. That boy can pull off anything! So jealous haha. But ya! He is amazing! And he's so sweet; he took me out to Zupa's and we just had fun and talked. He's the best!

8) Stake Conference~Saturday Session was so good! Dave told me there was no way he wasn't saving me a spot, which I was definitely very happy about :) The whole thing was on getting married and strengthening a marriage; a little awkward, but the talks were so great. I learned a lot.

9) Dave, Emily, Chad, and Katie Rae joined me and Lance from work to go see Blind Side. (sort of) When I brought it up to them on the way back from Conference, Dave was immediately like, "Done; I'm there!" :) So ya we went to the dollar theatre, and the movie ended up being sold out. So instead we decided to see Princess and the Frog instead. Dave was in front of me in line and when he went up to get his ticket he was like "two please." I asked if he bought two and he just gave me the cutest smile and was like, "yea" :)

10) I got to see Princess and the Frog!! So cute!!! Definitely a must-have! Love it! It's way cute and the music is really well done as was the movie and it's hilarious. Half-way through the movie Dave put his arm around me :) Then after awhile he pulled back and held my hand instead :) :) :) Haha when we got into the car afterwards--while Dave was walking back to his side of the car (yes, he opens the door for me :D)--Emily and I quickly turned to each other and were like "he had his arm around you/me!! eeee!!" and then turned quickly back into our seats with straight faces when Dave got in. It was pretty funny; we couldn't stop laughing and no one could figure out what was so funny to us. :)

11) Today's Stake Conference was way good too! I couldn't tell you specifics from the talks, but the Spirit was definitely there and I felt like I learned a lot. Just feeling the Spirit was great. And Dave gave me a ride there and we sat together. He put his arm around me again during the second half of Conference. You should have heard the eruption of whispers from people in our ward sitting behind us when he did that!! It was pretty funny. And apparently he had a ton of people talking to him about it after Conference 'cause they all saw him. I've had a couple people talk to me about it. Silly ward. But afterwards he came over for a little bit and we just talked which was nice.

12) I had tons of fun with Emily at ward prayer. That girl is so hilariously fun. Love her to death. But, of course, I was totally looking for Dave the whole time, but he showed up late so I didn't see him until the end of ward prayer when he had to make an announcement. Then afterwards he was on the opposite side of the room talking to people while I was talking to Emily, and when I finally got over to his side my hometeacher was like, "you ready to get home taught." In my head I was like, "no!!" haha but I did anyway. Lucky for me, Dave and his roommate Chuck left at the same time. So I quickly text Dave on the way to my hometeacher's place and asked him if he wanted to hang out after I was home taught. We passed each other 'cause my home teachers and him live right by each other and as soon as I passed him I got his text back saying, "definitely."

13) I was able to hang out with Dave!!! As soon as home teaching was done I went back to my apartment and Dave came over; we talked for a little bit and then finally decided to watch Hercules 'cause he hadn't seen it yet. He totally had his arm around me most of the time; and then Jason stopped by (which when he saw that I was with Dave, he just winked at me and said goodbye which was funny) so then Dave didn't have his arm around me :( but then I flirted a bit..hehe :) and he ended up having his arm on my knee with my arm around his...and then he totally ended up holding my hand!! :) So exciting! Watching the movie with him was way fun. Then afterwards we just talked; I was bummed when midnight came around 'cause I definitely could've talked with him for so much longer. We just talked about qualities we want in "that perfect person," which brought on stories of other things. It was just nice to talk to him; we have a lot of the same desires and temperaments. He's way sweet and nice and gentle and kind and a complete gentleman.

So the only thing that worries me with him is that he's definitely more self-confident and outgoing than I am...which I'm working on, but I'm definitely more shy and self-conscious. Like this Saturday we're going to be going on a double date with his roommate Chuck and the original idea was to go snowboarding/skiing. Which I think would be SO much fun..but the last experience, even though I had fun wasn't the greatest. I didn't pick up on it as fast as the person teaching me wanted and so I got frustrated and ended up alone so I got tired and took a nap in the car for most of the time. I mean, of course I'm going to biff it, but I dunno. The idea of going through that around Dave...it scares me and I'd rather not subject myself to that.

Anywho, so yea. I'm having fun getting to know him. We'll see what happens. I'm excited to see him tomorrow at FHE :) g'night!!
