The Best Weekend of My Life!!!

I'm seeing a trend with my time spent with Dave....

BEST WEEKEND EVER!!!

Oh my goodness...it was romantic, and hilariously fun, and relaxing, and crazy busy, and totally random all in one weekend!!

So Friday... He took me to this stake dance that was going on. A little stressful 'cause I had to find a semi-formal dress...something that I apparently don't own...but thanks to all the wonderful girls in the ward, I was able to put something together, and I felt so pretty. You know in movies when the guy picks up a girl for a dance? The first shot zooms in on her feet as she descends the stares...and before you can see her whole dress it zooms in on the guy's face. And he gets that look? The look of, "Wow..." I felt like I went through that exact same thing and it made me feel like a million bucks. I walked down the stairs, and Dave turned around in his very handsome pin-striped suit and his whole face lit up! He has this smile that he wears whenever he sees me that completely melts me. And he definitely had that smile on. I am such a lucky girl :)

Then thanks to my lovely roommates, some pictures were taken and we went to the dance. It was so much fun! I hope he enjoyed it as much as I did. I absolutely love ballroom dancing (the focus of the stake dance) and so I was in complete heaven. Dave was so much fun to dance with; he kept on saying that he's not very good but I absolutely loved it. He is the sweetest man alive.

The dinner was amazing and the people who were there were hilarious! And I was even able to take my favorite flower home...orange rose. (probably will take pictures later).

Anyway, afterwards we changed and went to this park by the freeway. So much fun!! I love playing on the swings and stuff :) Dave even scared some ducks...so that was exciting. I had fun just talking to him while we were swinging. Then we walked back to the car, and we had stopped a little bit to talk and for some reason my favorite song, "The Way You Look Tonight" popped into my head. So I randomly started singing it while he had his arms around me. Haha totally turned it into a romantic moment; he gave me his smile afterwards :)

Then! We drove around that area 'cause the houses are absolutely MASSIVE! I love looking at houses...these were definitely way too big. But fun to look at :)

Then today....we went with Chuck, Tania, and Nate to the Holi: Festival of Colors at the Krishna Temple in Spanish Fork. Neither Dave nor I had ever gone before. It was so much fun!! Definitely very interesting. The not being able to breathe 'cause of all the chalk in the air was not so cool...but the religious history and dancing and music and friends and Dave was absolute amazing. We were COVERED by the end of it. :)

Then we played volleyball with the ward; I wish I hadn't had a headache during it...I think all of the chalk in my system messed up my sinuses...but it was fun! Dave's a great volleyball player. Then since I had a headache, he came over and I made him dinner and we watched "De Ja Vu"
(k...so I watched it...he was asleep after the first 10 minutes of the movie... :D ). So good! But I was freakin' out the whole time! And we watched youtube videos. And he explained his facebook pictures. I love learning new things about him. :) Anywho...I need to head to bed since I'm exhausted. I hope everyone had an absolutely fabulous weekend also. :)
