Tear Jerkers

Ok...so the best movie ever but saddest movie ever is definitely The Notebook. If any of y'all haven't seen it yet...put it on your must-see list. (but make sure it's the edited version :S ) I love to see the love between the older couple; how he never gives up on his wife, even though she doesn't have a clue who he is 80% of the time. And they die the best way there is...in their sleep, in each other's arms, at the same time. Ugh...love it! Haha I'm such a girl. I've seen the movie countless of times, and I still cry ridiculously hard each time.

Which got me thinking (hence the reason for this way random post)....it's funny how most of my favorite chick flicks/movies in general are the ones that make me cry the most...Such as...

A Walk to Remember (without fail...I still cry my eyes out whenever he goes and hugs his dad after his dad helps her with her leukemia situation)

My Girl (this will make anyone cry...which is why all of my brothers have adamantly banned it from their homes)

Charlie (so sad!! but so good!!...and I totally want to do the check-out scene with my future husband...it'd be hilarious :D)

The Testaments (Can't help it...I always cry when Christ visits the Nephites)

Emma Smith: My Story (when Joseph's tarred and feathered and they lose the baby; when Joseph leaves to go to Carthage Jail and says good bye to Emma....same part as in the Joseph Smith movie showing in the SLC theater)

Since I'm the biggest cry-baby there is when it comes to movies (I even cried during Mighty Joe Young one time...) ...there are, of course, countless more tear jerkers out there...this is just a top 6. Anywho, you should all check these movies out! Embrace the tears! :)

  1. I cried in Mighty Joe Young too.

The Notebook book is even better than the movie. Same with walk to Remember--they kept the Notebook closer to the book, they changed quite a bit in Walk to Remember. I like Nicholas Sparks.

Bawled at My Girl and Charly too. Yeah, I like to cry in movies. sometimes.
