Weekend in St. George

This last weekend, my parents and I traveled down to St. George where my new nephew, Joseph, was being blessed on Sunday. I was very, very excited since I had never seen Joseph before, and oh my goodness he is such a handsome little boy. Seriously, itty-bitty. But adorable. It was really fun to be with family all weekend. Especially my brother James; I really miss being able to hang out with him like we did when I was in high school. He's always been my best friend and someone I look up to. It was so much fun to see him being a daddy..weird...but really nice. You can tell he really loves that little boy. And I love being able to get to know his wife Tana more.

Other than being sick (which seems to always happen when I go down to St. George...), the weekend was great. Dad took us out to Texas Roadhouse...which was AMAZING! Their pulled pork and ribs....mmm...so good. The blessing on Sunday went well, of course. And it was fun to spend time with family at Tana's family's house for the luncheon afterwards. And play with their dogs!! They're way cute :) It was tons of fun to be with Dan and Kena and their kids Halle and Justin. Halle's fun as always. I love that little girl. It's been neat that she's never forgotten who I am. And Justin!! Oh my goodness...what a cute and chubby baby!! He's so happy too! And man..I've never seen so much drool come out of one little boy...haha he was tons of fun to make smile. He definitely found his voice too because when he'd get excited he had this cute scream. Loved it! Him and Joseph both are so happy and content little guys.

I wasn't able to talk to David a whole lot this weekend, which was a downer. But I'm grateful for the time I was able to catch up with him. And I'm happy that he had so much fun with his cousin and friends. It's been really nice to get to know him better while we're away from each other. I've always wanted to be able to see whoever I date in different situations. This isn't exactly the situation I would have wanted...but I'm grateful for the opportunity to talk to him and get to know him. It's different then when we're in person..still not my favorite to be away from him...but it's different.

Anywho, here are some pictures from the weekend.

Mom made his blessing outfit! She's so talented. I loved the little vest and cumber bun :)

Justin's big smile!!
he wasn't very happy at this point...
we're a bunch of goofballs :)
